Leadership
Matt Haney
Founder and CEO
Matt Haney, founder and CEO, is a leading expert in network security who has led UNS Inc’s consistent global growth. Matt leverages his expertise as a former IT consultant to forge partnerships–with companies such as Delta Airlines, McAfee, and McKesson–to provide the highest level of cybersecurity staffing solutions to a broad range of small corporations, midsize firms, and international enterprises.
Matt is a long-time active member and also serves on the local Minneapolis board of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO), a worldwide peer network of business owners. He also mentors emerging entrepreneurs through Accelerator, an organization created by EO. Haney holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Management Information Systems from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.
Cara Lundrigan
President and Owner
Cara Lundrigan is an accomplished professional services executive with more than 20 years’ experience in the technology industry. Since becoming UNS Inc’s president in 2014 and partner in October 2018, the company has realized significant year-over-year growth, opened additional locations in Canada and Chile and doubled its consulting staff. Cara has been part of the UNS team since 2010 and has worked as both a senior recruiter and a senior account manager.
Previously, Cara, who hails from Minnesota, served in various executive sales, services and hardware/software support positions at XATA Corporation, Intelligent Nutrients (under Horst Rechelbacher, founder of Aveda), and POS Business Systems (now North Country Business Products).
Travis Abrams
VP of Sales and Owner
Travis has over two decades of versatile experience in the realm of Cyber Security. His journey has traversed through the legal, telecommunications, and manufacturing sectors, culminating in a dedicated focus on aiding clients through robust security controls and consultative services.
In 2015, Travis founded Cyberpeak Solutions, an eminent provider of professional and managed services in the field. In 2022, Cyberpeak Solutions was acquired by UNS. Travis has the roles of owner and Director of Operations at UNS.
Travis possesses a comprehensive skill set encompassing intrusion prevention/detection, penetration testing, vulnerability management, EDR, and incident response. Furthermore, he is adept at crafting market-ready solutions that empower clients to mitigate cyber risks in a cost-efficient manner. His track record encompasses the formulation of security operations programs for global enterprises and collaborative efforts with MSSPs to streamline management processes.
Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, bolstered by esteemed certifications including CISSP and CISM, attesting to his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry knowledge.
